Thermal radiation (Modelling, simulation and optimisation)

Heat transfer is based in three basic mechanisms, conduction, convection and radiation. Thermal radiation is an integral mode of heat transfer with a strong importance in high temperature systems, not requiring a transfer media (as happen with the other heat transfer mechanisms). The thermal heat flux is proportional to fourth power of the absolute temperature.
